We were in the market for a countertop and were on the way to Lowe's across the street when we happened to see their showroom.  We met with Javier at Pontevedra and he was an absolute pleasure to work with.  We told him we were in a hurry to complete our kitchen and that the countertop was the last big piece of the puzzle missing.  Javier sent a worker to the house to measure, and just over a week later, our beautiful countertop was installed.  The workers that came to cut and install the pieces were skilled craftsman who did a wonderful job.  The "Viscount White" granite piece we purchased looks beautiful. This is a one-stop business for your marble or granite. They are not too big, or too small. We picked out our material from their on-site warehouse and had it installed in a matter of days. Our job was done quickly, professionally and with special attention to detail. Administration, staff, fabricators, and installers were pleasant and very good at what they do. All of this at a price that made us very happy.
Now, our property was a challenge. We live in an upscale condo/hotel in downtown Miami (Brickel). Our unit is on an upper floor with difficult access and a busy loading dock that must be reserved and with no real ability to park a work truck. Needless to say, it is a pain for businesses and workers that must come to our building.
We added a Winebar that required separate pieces and cuts to fit the installation. It was completed perfectly.
We also had a blue stain in our white marble in our powder room (from the previous owner). You know, that blue stuff people put in their toilet to make the water pretty. Well, it leaked out and soaked into the pores of the beautiful white marble. Pontevedra was able to remove the stain 100%.

My husband and I were getting frustrated trying to find a piece of quartz slab for our vanity countertop for our remodeled bathroom.  We visited several places around our area with no results.  Even though we live in Kendall, we decided to visit Pontevedra in Hialeah on the suggestion of one of our friends.  We were amazed at the variety of pieces we were able to choose from, and even more amazed at the so-hard-to find-nowadays service from the young lady Aylin that took care of us.  She walked us around to show us what there was, was very patient, friendly, and knowledgeable, and really made the buying process easy.  Once we made our decision, she stayed in constant touch with my husband to let him know how the process was going and sending pictures to make sure they were getting it exactly right the way we wanted it, and the piece, which came out beautifully,  was done within a few days.   We also met her boss, whose name I unfortunately don't recall, who was also very nice and who turned out to be the one that came to our place to take the measurements.  Afterwards two installers came; they were very careful to get everything just right, were very neat and cleaned up everything afterwards, and were a pleasure to deal with as well.  Everything came out perfect.  We would not hesitate to come here again, should the need arise, and highly recommend it.
